Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) has named LeeAnna Bowling as its new Bid Assistance Coordinator, bringing a diverse background in workforce development, grant management, marketing, and business operations to the Business and Industry Services team.
In her new role, Bowling will provide no-cost, one-on-one counseling and technical assistance to Oklahoma businesses interested in pursuing government contracting opportunities. Through the Oklahoma APEX Accelerator, she will assist businesses in identifying contracting opportunities, understanding procurement requirements, and navigating the bidding process for federal, state, local, and tribal government contracts.
Before joining Pioneer Tech, Bowling spent seven years at Northern Oklahoma College (NOC), most recently serving as Project Director for a $2.2 million federally funded Title III grant. She also served as the grant's Student Success Specialist after beginning her career at NOC in Student Affairs. Prior to higher education, she gained experience in sales, marketing, management, human resources, and real estate, building a strong foundation in customer service, relationship management, project coordination, and business development.
Bowling said her passion for helping others led her to pursue a career in bid assistance.
"Throughout my career, I have enjoyed helping people navigate processes, connect with resources, and achieve their goals," she said. "Government contracting can seem overwhelming, but with the right guidance, businesses can successfully compete and grow. Being part of that journey is incredibly rewarding."
She was drawn to Pioneer Tech because of its commitment to workforce and economic development and its dedication to serving businesses and communities throughout north central Oklahoma.
"What attracted me most was Pioneer Tech's investment in supporting local businesses and providing employees with opportunities to make a meaningful impact," Bowling said. "I look forward to helping businesses discover opportunities they may not realize are available and providing the resources they need to succeed."
Bowling earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Oklahoma State University in 2012 and a Master of Business Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2024.
The Oklahoma APEX Accelerator, housed within Pioneer Tech's Business and Industry Services team, is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense, Oklahoma CareerTech, and Pioneer Technology Center. The program provides confidential, no-cost assistance to businesses seeking to sell products and services to government agencies at the federal, state, local, and tribal levels.
Outside of work, Bowling and her husband enjoy spending time with their three daughters and staying involved in their community. Much of their family time is spent attending softball and basketball games, track meets, cheer events, and theater performances.
