Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) has named Jennifer Wehrenberg as its new Trade and Industry Instructional Director, bringing more than 25 years of educational leadership and instructional experience to the position.

Wehrenberg joined Pioneer Tech in 2021 as the Adult Education and Family Literacy Coordinator and most recently served as Interim Trade and Industry Director. Throughout her career, she has focused on helping students, instructors, and schools succeed through strong relationships, professional development, and servant leadership.

"Helping others succeed has always been my passion," said Wehrenberg. "Whether working with students, instructors, or community partners, I enjoy creating opportunities that help people grow and reach their goals."

Before joining Pioneer Tech, Wehrenberg served in a variety of educational roles, including elementary teacher, reading specialist, Title I coordinator, instructional coach, and professional development leader. She also spent nearly nine years with the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, where she helped support and train educators across the state.

As Trade and Industry Instructional Director, Wehrenberg will work closely with instructors, students, administrators, and business partners to ensure programs continue providing high-quality training that prepares students for successful careers. She will also help strengthen partnerships with local employers to ensure training programs align with workforce needs.

"Her passion for education and workforce development will help strengthen our programs and continue advancing our mission of enhancing lives and securing futures."

Wehrenberg said she is excited to help students gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in high-demand careers while supporting instructors and building relationships with business and industry partners.

"Our district has tremendous opportunities for growth through collaboration between education and industry," Wehrenberg said. "By working together, we can help students build rewarding careers while helping employers develop the skilled workforce they need."

A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Wehrenberg holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Reading Specialist Certification. She also completed the Educational Leadership Program and Administrator Certification Program through East Central University.

Jennifer and her husband, Erich, have deep roots in northwest Oklahoma and remain active in their community through education, agriculture, church, and service organizations. They have two adult children, Maddy a student at OSU, as well as Tyler with his wife Kayla who live in Cashion. The Wehrenberg’s work hard to continue the family farming tradition and operation in Kingfisher County, raising cattle, wheat, and hay while investing in future generations.
