Morning Salon Academy Participants

Pioneer Technology Center recently welcomed students to its Summer Salon Academy, a hands-on experience designed to introduce young learners to the creative and professional world of cosmetology.

Led by Cosmetology Teaching Assistant Kari Officer, the academy gave students the chance to explore basic skills in hair, nails, skin care, and salon practices. Through fun, interactive activities, participants experienced how creativity, technique, and customer care come together in the beauty industry.

The academy also offered students a glimpse inside Pioneer Tech’s salon training space, where future cosmetology professionals build confidence through classroom instruction and real-world practice.

Pioneer Tech’s Cosmetology program prepares students for career opportunities in the beauty industry by combining technical instruction with hands-on salon experience. Students learn the skills needed to pursue licensure and enter the workforce with confidence.
