Pioneer Technology Center’s (PTC) SHARE program recently celebrated the achievements of its graduates during a special recognition ceremony for the 2025-2026 school year. The SHARE program, which stands for Sharing Hope and Redefining Education, is designed to help students build new futures by combining academic instruction with career and technology training. The program empowers students with the confidence, knowledge, and real-world skills needed to succeed in both the workforce and their personal lives.
This year’s SHARE graduates represented communities across the area, including Ponca City, Newkirk, and Blackwell. Those honored during the ceremony included top row: Antonia Lopez (Ponca City), Trevor Bedore (Newkirk), Shane Spiva (Blackwell), Keaton Tedrow (Ponca City), James Younger (Blackwell), Landon Matlock (Blackwell), and Scarlette VanDusen (Ponca City). Bottom row: Celeste Hardiman (Teaching Assistant), Brooklyn Turley (Ponca City), Malia Christian (Blackwell), Zayne Gaytan (Ponca City), Pyper Ferguson (Ponca City), Seth Rhodes (Ponca City), Alissa Horinek (Ponca City), Carlee Mayfield (Ponca City), and Karl Lynes (Instructor). Not pictured: Kylie Keller (Newkirk).
While the celebration marked an important milestone for the students, it also served as a heartfelt tribute to SHARE Instructor and Coordinator Karl Lynes as he retires after 15 years of dedicated service to the program. Over the years, Lynes has become much more than an educator to his students. He has served as a mentor, encourager, advocate, and steady influence for countless young people working to overcome obstacles and create better futures for themselves.
Pioneer Technology Center extends sincere appreciation to Lynes for his years of service, commitment, and the difference he has made in the lives of so many students.
