Youth Police Academy students and instructors

Last week, students from Pioneer Technology Center’s Youth Police Academy immersed themselves in the world of criminal justice through a dynamic, hands-on learning experience. Tom Burg, academy instructor, along with a team from the Ponca City Police Department, helped participants explore various aspects of law enforcement, including Crime Scene Investigation (CSI), police operations, and safety protocols.

Throughout the week, students engaged in real-world scenarios designed to simulate daily police work. Their enthusiasm and active participation were evident as they worked through each challenge, gaining valuable insights into the responsibilities and skills required in public safety careers.

This immersive program reflects Pioneer Tech’s commitment to delivering high-quality, hands-on training that prepares students for future success. By offering exposure to real-life applications and professional mentorship, the Youth Police Academy helps students explore career possibilities in law enforcement and public safety.
