Ponca City, OK - Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) recently celebrated the graduation of Marathon Safety Services L.L.C. from the business incubator program. Marathon Safety, owned and operated by Darrin Johns, is now located at 200 North Main Street in Tonkawa.
Marathon serves large and small companies by implementing and maintaining effective safety programs. Some of the company's services include consulting, providing contract safety personnel, performing safety audits and providing industrial medical services along with confined space rescue and safety training.
"I felt that for my business to have the best chance of succeeding, that the PTC incubator was the right choice. Their expertise in developing small businesses is track proven and I am very appreciative to have been a part of their program." Johns said explaining the reasons he chose to develop the company in PTC's incubator.
An integral part of being in the Business Incubator is the access to Pioneer Technology Center's Self Employment Training (SET) program which offers professional assistance and guidance in starting a small business. Program members receive one-on-one consulting and are entitled to attend PTC's business & industry services classes for free. The classes offer you knowledge in managing, marketing and financing a small business.
Pioneer Technology Center's small business incubator is a multi-use facility designed to create and nurture the growth and development of a new or start-up business. Some of the reasons businesses choose to locate in the business incubator include free rent for three months with incremental increases, no utility deposits and Oklahoma Income Tax exemption is available.
