Marathon Safety Services L.L.C. continues to grow in providing local industry with quality safety services. Darrin Johns, company president, founded the company, as the only employee in 2006, based on his experience in safety training and the safety management industry. Currently, Marathon employs 18 safety specialists and office personnel. In addition, Johns has recently earned national recognition as a Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO).

Marathon serves large and small companies in Oklahoma and Kansas by assisting in the implementation and maintenance of effective safety programs. According to Johns,

"As a result of our success, we’re looking into expanding our services to other states in our region." A few of the company’s services include consulting, training, project safety, and confined space rescue standby.
