
Tulsa, Okla. - Molly Kyler was selected by the membership of Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE) to the office of the association's president-elect during the recent statewide CareerTech Conference held in Tulsa. In addition to representing OkACTE as a voting delegate at the national ACTE convention, Kyler will serve the association in strategic planning, legislative education and professional development activities.
Kyler has been employed at Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City, Okla. for the past 12 years and is currently the center's director of organizational development and customer relations. She holds two degrees from the University of Central Oklahoma; a bachelors of science in marketing education and a masters of education in school administration.
According to Kyler, her strength as a leader for CareerTech comes from her versatility which she attributes to her work in the classroom, business and industry services, and communications and marketing. She says she is anxious to champion the OkACTE mission of uniting the profession and serving its membership.
OkACTE is the professional organization for over 3,500 career and technology educators here in Oklahoma. Its members are career and technology educators from comprehensive high schools, technology centers, CareerTech skills centers, higher education and staff members of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, Stillwater.
