Small Business Succession Planning Workshop Pioneer Technology Center's (PTC) Small Business Management (SBM) program and the Ponca City Main Street Economic Restructuring Committee are co-sponsoring a Small Business Succession Planning Workshop. The workshop will address the simplicity of Business Succession Planning. This type of planning is critical to address retirement or a change in the ownership or management of a business operation. Tips on making the transition economical and profitable with less hassle and more success will be discussed. According to the Small Business Administration, 90% of the 21 million US businesses are family owned. Yet only 30% of family run companies today succeed into the second generation and only 15% survive into the third.
