Thornburgh Receives Plains States Speakers Award Plains States Chapter Chairman, Don Hibbs, (right) presents Johnny Thornburgh, Manufacturing Extension Agent, Pioneer Technology Center, the speaker’s award at the March meeting, for his presentation on “Safety Around Hydraulic Systems.” Plains State is the chapter for south central Kansas and north central Oklahoma of the American Foundryman's Society, the cast metals professional group.
